Founded
in 1983, owner Ross Seymour, a former college professor,
had no plans to follow his father’s footsteps into
the pool care business in Melbourne, Australia. He was,
however, a competitive swimmer. He came to the United States
to attend college on a swimming scholarship in 1972 and
represented Australia in the Montreal Olympics in 1976.
After earning a masters degree in education he was hired
to teach and coach swimming at George Williams College
in Downers Grove.
